Chennai, May 4 (IANS): After playing an ageing superstar in latest Tamil outing "Uttama Villain", actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will don khaki in his yet-untitled upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
"Kamal will be seen as a police officer. It'll be a stylish thriller that'll unfold in a single night. The film will go on floors from the second or third week of this month," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Trisha Krishnan has been finalised as the leading lady, while Prakash Raj has also been roped in for an important role.
The project will be helmed by Kamal's long-time associate Rajesh.
Originally, the film was planned to be originally shot in Mauritius. But now there seems to be change of plans.
"The plan was to shoot in Mauritius. Kamal had also finalized some locations on the island. But due to some logistical issues, the team plans to shoot in India," the source added.
Ghibran has been roped in as the composer. This will be fourth time association with Haasan in a row.
