Mangalore, Mar 18: In a road mishap, a lorry went off road near NMPT on Sunday. The accident took place at the wee hours when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle which was carrying plywood from Kochi to Goa. Both the legs of the driver were stuck in the mangled vehicle. However, the quick assistance by the police saved him from the jaws of death.
