Mangalore, Mar 18: After the every successful Alfrenco food fest at the Taj Manjarun, this time it is time for China to make its way into Mangalore city. The Chinese food fest at ‘Cardmom’ till March 25 is definitely an event to look forward to for all Chinese cuisine enthusiasts.

As part of this 10-day food promotion, a sumptuous Chinese buffet will be laid out with special emphasis to Cantonese cuisine. And to pamper taste buds is Sunder, a master chef from Kathmandu whose speciality lies in preparing a variety of dimsums.

The ambience of the hotel too has a Chinese touch with a special China garden made of bamboo grooves teamed with soothing Chinese music. A typical Chinese meal, Sunder says consists of two or more general components, a carbohydrate source and accompanied by dishes  of vegetable, meat, fish or other items.
