Mangalore, Mar 18: Three instances of burglary were reported in DK district in which one took place in a hospital room, another in a commercial complex and the third in a house.
Thieves gained entry into hospital room No 15 in Sayyed Madani Hospital Ullal on March 15. The room belonged to Binu Chandran of Kerala. The thieves broke open the door lock and took away gold ornaments, ATM card and other goods worth Rs 24,000.
In another case, thieves Pals communication in Karthik complex, Belthangady and stole mobiles and other accessories worth Rs 95,000. The shop belonged to Sujith Prabhu M of Kanyaadi Dhamasthala village.
The house of Balakrishna K. Acharya of Shanthi Nagara, Ujire village Belthangady was burgled recently. Cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 38, 000 have been reported stolen.
