Corona Sunsets Festival to debut in India


New Delhi, April 28 (IANS): Corona Sunsets Festival, a series of electronic music events, will hit India this summer, travelling through seven cities before culminating in Goa.

Small-scale and laid back, the festival brings renowned electronic music innovators to multi-city events travelling across Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kolkata and finally arriving in Goa for a grand closure.

"We are extremely ambitious about Corona Sunsets, sharing the global brand experience with the Indian consumers. With Sunsets we look forward to take our association and consumer experience to a whole new level," Shubhanshu Joshi, India brand manager, Corona said

Culminating at the magical hour of sunset, the festival unites music, food, art and entertainment, creating a connection and emotional escape for people everywhere, read a statement.

Corona Sunsets is a global music festival series inspired by the hour of sunset. In its debut year in India, the festival promises to be a close knit dance-music affair, bringing together a community of like minded people seeking the same thing -- an escape, a chance to unplug, a shared experience worth celebrating.

For the Indian edition, Corona has collaborated with Submerge, a dance-music promoter in India, who will be bringing together the whole property. Submerge will be programming all the artists and marketing the festival along with on-ground execution.
