Mohali, April 28 (IANS): After clinching the man-of-the-match award for his brilliant spell of bowling against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter, Sunrisers Hyderabad's left arm fast bowler Trent Boult said he was still learning and it felt nice to get a reward for his efforts.
Boult was exceptional in his four overs returning with figures of 3/19 and made sure the Kings were put on a tight leash chasing 151/6. They ultimately fell short by 20 runs here on Monday.
"I'm learning, trying to come in and be as aggressive as I can. It's nice to get a reward today and see the result. The first thing here is to get the length right and I'm enjoying my time here and looking forward to travelling to Hyderabad and get going again," Boult said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
The New Zealander, who has thus far got eight wickets from five IPL matches, also praised the bowling unit for a collective performance.
"It was quite a dry wicket, not much humidity. It was a good batting wicket, but we bowled really well," he said.
The Sunrisers next play Chennai Super Kings at home in Hyderabad on May 2.
