Mumbai, Apr 21: Akhay Kumar's next venture titled 'Gabbar is Back' is taking up a lot of headlines with its leading lady Shruti Haasan's recently released Marathi mulgi look in a nauvari sari as well as its title track - 'Warna Gabbar aa jayega". The title track was released by Akshay Kumar on his Twitter handle along with the comment, "Thoda darr ke reh beta...#WarnaGabbarAaJayega! Presenting the title track of @TheGabbarIsBack! Enjoy!"

Akshay sports a salt and pepper look replete with a moustache and short beard to match. Leading lady Shruti Haasan on the other hand is seen in a look that she has never been seen in before. Draped in a nauvari sari she looks every inch the marathi girl. The versatility of her look can probably, in part be attributed to the marathi genes she inherits from her mother Sarika.
The song itself has remixed the various sentences that make up the original classic dialogue from Sholay by Amjad Khan. Some of the very memorable and oft repeated sentences have been either modified to suit this movie or used as is in the song, such as:

"Pachas Pachas kos door jab koi rishvat leta hai to log kehte hain mat le warna gabbar aa jayega"

"Gabbar khush hua"

The accompanying video has a lot of the action sequences in there along with a lot of VFX that make it quite a watch and give a glimpse into what the watchers might expect from this movie. The recent spate of movies dished out by Akshay especially the action and thriller variety such as Special 26 and Baby have brought forth another aspect to the actor who entertained audiences with his comic timing and at times buffoonery in movies such as Housefull and Rowdy Rathore.

It remains to be seen if people love it and if it makes as much moolah as the other movies.
