Mumbai, Mar 12: The general meeting of Chembur Karnataka Sangha was held here recently. Prabhakar B Bolar was elected as president during the meeting along with other office – bearers.

Other office – bearers elected are: Bhavanishankar Acharya and Shashidhar Amin as vice – presidents, Gunakar Hegde as honorary chief secretary, Ranjan Kumar Amin and Devdas Shettigar as deputy secretaries, Thimappa Shetty as honorary treasurer and Yogish Gujaran and Yadav Salian as joint – treasurers.

Established in 1955, the Sangha was registered in 1962 under the Bombay Public Trust Act. The Sangha runs a high school and an Arts, Commerce and Science college.
