Udupi, Mar 12: The newly-built SDM Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital at Parika here will be inaugurated by medical education minister and district in-charge V S Acharya on Wednesday March 21.
This was announced by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade at a press meet held here on Saturday March 10.
The inaugural ceremony will be graced by Sri Sugunendra Tirtha Swamy of Puttige Math.
Heggade further informed that the hospital would have 50-bed capacity but will be increased to 150 beds in the near future.
The hospital staff will be supervised by two well-trained doctors. The nature cure treatment will include yoga, meditation, prayers etc and each patient will be treated for a period of 7-21 days.
Among those present were former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake, zilla panchayat member Bhujanga Shetty and SDM Society secretary Harshendra Kumar.
