We have lot of things to look at: Kohli

Bengaluru, April 20 (IANS): Slipping to their second defeat in three matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday said his team needed to work on lot of areas including bowling, approach to batting and conceding too many extras.

Kohli, however, was full of praise for AB de Villiers and David Wiese. For their scintillating batting. De Villiers struck 41 of 11 deliveries, while Wiese made an unbeaten 47.

“It was entertaining how AB and Wiese played it out in the end. A lot of things went wrong except for what those two did.

“We should have had a better approach in our batting. We need guys to play the way AB did, Wiese also backed himself and played positive cricket,” said Kohli at the post-match presentation ceremony.

He said while some of the batsmen got out unluckily “at wrong times”, “We have a lot of things to look at, including the bowling.

“We bank on our opening stand and the start we get, that's one area we need to improve in as well. We gave too many extras and we need to look at that,” Kohli said.
