Los Angeles, April 16 (IANS): “Avengers: Age of Ultron” star Jeremy Renner says fatherhood has "screwed" his acting career, but being a daddy is his "best role" to date.
The 44-year-old realised that his priorities have changed since he and former wife Sonni Pacheco welcomed their daughter Ava into the world two years ago, and his work is no longer as important to him, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Speaking on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Renner said: “(Fatherhood) really kind of changed my perspective on a lot of things.
"It's kind of screwed my career in a lot of ways. Because I don't really care about (my career) so much because I care about her so much. She's like number one in my life. And now I get to do movies on the side. Daddy's my best role to date, I think,” he added.
Renner will next be seen reprising his role as Hawkeye in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, which will release in India on April 24.
