Panaji, Mar 8: After endorsing products like US-based Shure Microphones, Pepsi and Raymonds Suitings, the international repute pop singer Remo Fernandes has now signed up with Mont Vert, Pune-based real estate firm, as the brand ambassador for their resort apartments.
"I don't endorse something just for the heck of it. There has to be a logical reason which associates me with the product," Goa-based Remo Fernandes told PTI talking about his endorsement.
International pop singer, Remo, known to be choosy to endorse any product, said that he has always refused to endorse alcohol and tobacco products. "
I've always refused to endorse alcohol and tobacco products. When Mont Vert asked me, I felt it was perfect, cause they wanted to promote resort homes in Pune which made the people living in them feel as though they were holidaying in Goa. And since many people associate me with Goa, their choice of endorsee made perfect sense to me," he said.
Remo's endorsement of a real estate will come as an unexpected move to Goans as the singer has been on forefront saving Goa's land from real estate giants. "The people of Maharastra will have a chance to have homes which are situated in Goa-like resorts in Pune and other parts of Maharastra, with greenery, pools, outdoor games, relaxation areas, and everything else which makes for pleasant living amidst nature. The bottom line of the advertising campaign is, with homes like these, who needs to move to Goa?," he said.
"Since resorts are associated with holiday spots like Goa, Mauritius, we felt who could endorse the product better than one of India's favourite music icon, Goa-based, Remo Fernandes", stated Jayant Kaneria, Chairman, Mont Vert.
Remo has been roped in as the brand ambassador for all the resort apartment projects coming up by Mont Vert. "Remo represents Goa, which is a place to chill out and relax and be on a permanent holiday. That 's what Mont Vert Tropez will offer", he adds.
