Mangalore, Mar 8: "Efforts are going on to create confusion and enmity within Muslim community. At the same time some other external forces are trying to push down Muslim community in various ways. So this is the right time for us to unite together forgetting all our differences. Differences are and will be there. But we have overcome these to build a healthy and strong society," said Al-Haz Ibrahim, khateeb of Central Jumma Masjid.
He was speaking after inaugurating the conference of Jamaat representatives at the Town Hall here on Wednesday March 7. The conference was organized by Muslim Central Committee.
The conference was chaired by central committee president K S Muhammad Masood. Western Range IGP H N Satyanarayana Rao, deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao, ASP Lokesh Kumar, Bangalore ACP G A Bava, welcome committee president Al-Haj B M Mumtaz Ali and others were present on the dais.
Alhaj Abusufian Ibrahim Musliar of Bajpe Masjid, U K Abdul Aziz Darimi and Mohammad Kunhi of Shanti Publishers delivered lecture on the occasion.
