Sullia, Mar 6: All the three accused in the acid attack case on an advocate here have now been remanded to judicial custody by Sullia Civil Court.
The accused Narayana Gowda, Beedi Usman and Santhosh were produced in the court on Monday March 5 morning. Civil judge J R Mendonca after hearing both the parties remanded them to judicial custody till March 16.
Meanwhile, as decided by Bar Association none of the local advocates have taken up the case on behalf of the accused. The association which has condemned the acid attack on former town panchayat president and advocate M Venkappa Gowda and his wife Champa Gowda has decided not to take up the case for the accused.
It is also said that the parade to identify the accused will be held in a couple of days’ time in Mangalore before the taluk magistrate.
