Mumbai, March 2: The Shiv Sena has often assumed the role of an unofficial censor launching violent agitations against films it didn't agree with but luckily Black Friday won't have to deal with.

The Shiv Sena supreme played censor and cleared Black Friday, Anurag Kashyap's film on the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Last week Thackeray talked tough and said if Black Friday glorifies Dawood Ibrahim, I will ban the film.

Thackeray watched the film and gave his verdict in a column in the Sena mouthpiece Saamna, where he said: It was a good movie to watch and learn about the conspiracy.

With the all clear signal, the film can roll on unhindered.
