Los Angeles, April 4 (IANS): Model Chrissy Teigen says she hates the beach because she finds the sand "filthy", while the sea makes her feel "uncomfortable" as she finds the ocean like a "giant bathtub".

The Sports illustrated model recently enjoyed a vacation with her husband John Legend and her mother Vilailuck in St. Bart's. However, she's not too fond of the beach, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"It was beautiful just to get away for a bit. And cook every day. And we bought my mum out; she kind of goes everywhere with us, she lives with us,” Teigen said.

"I hate the beach. I think sand is filthy. To me, the ocean is like a giant bathtub and it just makes me uncomfortable. It's like the Earth's juices... I don't love it,"she added.

The 29-year-old also said that she finds she can't relax on the beach with her family because of the lurking paparazzi.

"That's why you can't go to a nude beach. It can get you into some trouble sometimes. You can't really hang out, be yourself because you're kind of worried people are zooming in on something flabby or weird," she added.
