Kochi, April 4 (IANS): Popular Malayalam cinematographer and filmmaker Amal Neerad tied the knot with popular actress Jyothirmayi at a ceremony here on Saturday.
The wedding was held in the presence of a sub-registrar with just close relatives of the bride and groom in attendance.
Neerad, after graduating from a film institute, began his film career as a cinematographer and later went on to produce and direct block buster films like "Big B", "Sagar Alias Jacky" and "Iyobinte Pustakam", that was released last year.
Jyothirmayi began her career by acting in TV serials, and in her film career, which began in 2000, she has by now acted in more than 35 films. Her "Meesha Madhavan" and "Patalam" both were blockbusters.
This is Jyothirmayi's second marriage. Her first wedding with an IT professional ended with a divorce in 2011.
