Bantwal, Feb 26: Over ten persons were injured when a private bus turned turtle on National Highway 48 at Melkar. The accident took place on Monday morning.
The private bus was plying between Mangalore to Puttur and went off the road while overtaking another vehicle.
The cleaner of the bus Sajipanadu resident Muthapa, passengers Krishnappa and Harshalatha were injured seriously. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore.
