Mumbai, Mar 24: It seems to be all in the family as after his daughter took on play back singing, director Mahesh Bhatt is heard crooning in the title track of 'Mr X' which is being produced by his brother Mukesh Bhatt and stars his nephew Emraan Hashmi.
This is Bhatt's first time singing a song in playback for a movie. The song titled after the movie is also called Mr. X and was written by Rashmi Singh and composed by Jeet Ganguli. The video accompanying the song has screen scorching scenes of Amyra Dastur being followed and seduced by an invisible Emraan Hashmi. She repeatedly, in the song, asks for his real name to which he gives her the standard answer (in the voice of Mahesh Bhatt) to simply call him Mr X.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt and written by Shagufta Rafique the movie has Amyra Dastur who is the female lead opposite Emraan Hashmi. She apparently plays the cop set on catching the invisible man who goes around spilling blood in the name of justice.
The movie that seems to be along the lines on the Hollywood flick Hollow Man has Emraan as the protagonist Raghuram Rathore who is a brilliant scientist. In his scientific capacity he is obsessed with succeeding in his experiments and having mastered the art of invisibility he works at dispensing justice, his way.
The movie is said to be releasing in both 2D as well as 3D on the 17th of April at the theatres across the nation.
