New Delhi, March 24 (IANS): "Queen", the story of a girl's self-discovery, was cited as the best Hindi film at the 62nd National Film Awards announced here on Tuesday.
The film narrates a story of an inspirational girl-next-door who embarks on her honeymoon alone after her prospective husband backs off.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who portrayed the character of Rani in the film, was named the best actress. The film was lauded by audiences and critics alike.
Produced by Phantom Films and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film, which was directed by Vikas Bahl, also starred Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon.
