Mumbai, Mar 18: When questioned about Abhishek Kapoor going to court about not being given credit for his work on the script of the movie Rock On 2, he said, "I would much rather the court decide since its gone there. I have nothing to say. He's a friend of mine and I don't want to talk about him in public."

Abhishek Kapoor is said to have worked on the script of the sequel of the hit film Rock On with Pubali Chaudhuri. The director of Rock On, Kapoor claims that he had contacted Pubali, to ask about whether she had been contacted by Excel Entertainment who wished to make the movie Rock On2. He alleges that Pubali told him she was not well and would rather discuss the matter with him at a later date.

In the meantime Pubali went right ahead and registered the script with Film Writer's Association and was also given complete credit for it by the movie makers. Abhishek who approached the producers as well as Pubali to acknowledge his contribution was brushed off with vague responses and therefore forced to take the matter to court.

Kapoor has claimed breach of trust and filed the case stating, “The malafide conduct of Chaudhuri can be seen from the fact that when the plaintiff (Kapoor) addressed an email, she did not dispute the contents whereby Kapoor referred the script as 'our script’. In fact, she made a false statement that she was unwell. Had she been unwell, she would not have got the script registered the same day. It is clear from the conduct of Chaudhuri that she cheated Kapoor. It was a blatant breach of trust.”

The court case while dispensing justice will also be the reason the film will take longer to go on floors as well as to subsequently hit the theatres.
