Mumbai, March 18 (IANS): Actor Randeep Hooda, who has experimented with his roles and looks in films like "Highway" and "Bombay Talkies", says he enjoys transformation with each film.
Even for his role in "Main Aur Charles", a forthcoming biopic on Charles Sobhraj, the 'Bikini Killer' of the 1970s, Randeep has undergone a change of look.
"My favourite roles are the ones which include transformation, like 'Highway' or 'Bombay Talkies', and this part ("Main Aur Charles") is also pretty transformational. It is something I enjoy the most," the 38-year-old said here on Tuesday at the launch of the cover page of Mandate magazine featuring him.
"Main Aur Charles", directed by Prawaal Raman, revolves around the infamous escape of the serial killer from Tihar jail in 1986. He was convicted and jailed for 12 murders between 1976 and 1997, and is currently serving a sentence of life imprisonment in Nepal.
Randeep says that as an actor, he loves to challenge himself as it makes his work interesting.
"I love being able to tap into things within myself which I haven't before. It makes my work interesting. And I hope through this people find my work interesting as well," he added.
Initially, "Main Aur Charles" was due for release on March 13. However, it will now hit the screens on June 26 as a song's shooting is still pending.
