Kolkata, March 16 (IANS): Swine flu claimed one more life in West Bengal on Monday, taking the toll to 21, a health official said.
This is the third death in three consecutive days since Saturday.
As many as 12 fresh cases were detected during the last 24 hours.
"An elderly woman succumbed to the influenza in a private hospital. The state figure for the death toll is 21 now," Health Secretary Malay Dey told IANS.
He said the total number of HINI positive cases has gone up to 323.
