Panaji, Feb 6: Hundreds of college students were arrested on Tuesday, February 6 for agitating against the injustice done to them in getting the computer under the Goa governments Cyber-age scheme.
The students began their agitation in the morning which forced the police to run after them in the whole of the capital city.
Around 1000 students from different colleges took part in the agitation and all of them had a single slogan..."Chaay garam bhaji garam, Rane sarkar besharam".
They also held the education minister Luizinho Faleiro responsible for the mess in the Cyber-age scheme.
The police however manhandled the students, specially the girl students, while arresting them.
The students blocked both the Patto bridges in the city bringing the busy traffic to a standstill for almost an hour.
