Mumbai, Feb 5: The new archbishop Oswald Gracias was felicitated by Model Cooperative Bank here on Sunday February 4.
The programme was held at the St Xavier Institute of Engineering auditorium at Mahim (west) here. Thanksgiving Mass was offered by the Archbishop along with Fr John Ross, Fr Fabian Baretto, Fr Lancy Pereira and Fr Reggie Tauro.
The archbishop was felicitated by bank working president Albert W D’Souza.
Model Bank founder John D’Silva, vice president Prof A P D’Souza and Xavier Institute of Engineering director Fr Reggie Tauro were present on the dais.
Three branches of the bank at Andheri (East), Meera Road and Malad were awarded for outstanding customer satisfaction and for achieving high profits. The managers of the respective branches received the awards from the archbishop.
