Mangalore, Feb 5: The fun-filled children’s carnival at Pilikula Nisargadhama came to a happy end here on Sunday February 4.
Thousands of students participated in the two-day event that provided a host of frolicsome activities to the kids from kite-flying to competitions. Children were seen enjoying and learning the fun way with BASF Kids Lab, mobile museum of Visvesvariah Technological Museum, Bangalore and experiments by Agasthya Foundation.
Cultural programmes and picnics added to the fun. The visits to botanical and animal parks gave the children an insight in to the fauna and flora of the land.
Speaking on the occasion, minister for science and technology Ramachandra Gowda lauded the organisers for hosting such an event which would help in instilling the fundamentals of Science in children.
Though the carnival has ended, the BASF Kids Lab will be open till Wednesday February 7.
