Mangalore, Feb 5: The Football Players Association, Mangalore, organised a fortnight-long `Kreedotsava 2007' at the Nehru Maidan here. The event began in a novel way.
The Association organised a blood donation camp prior to the matches.
Around 300 sportspersons participated in the programme and donated blood before the event. Medical personnel from Wenlock Hospital and Yenepoya College Hospital assisted in the camp. Blood grouping was also done at the venue.
