Beltangady, Jan 31: Mahamastakabhishekha celebrations at Dharmasthala near here entered fourth day on Wednesday January 31.
Only two more days are remaining for the grand finale which is slated to be held on Friday February 2. Religious rites and rituals connected to mahamastakabhisheka are going on with full fervour. Devotees are thronging in big numbers everyday.
Some of them who have come from far lands are residing Dharmasthala where adequate and good lodging facilities have been arranged for the devotees.
Everything is going on smoothly under the able and proven leadership of dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade. Though several heads and hands have come together in organizing and holding this devotional fest, there is no doubt that Dr Veerendra Heggade is supervising each aspect personally despite his busy schedule.
While religious rites and ceremonies are being held during the day, evenings are marked by delicious delicacies of cultural legacies. Well-known artiste from all-over India have graced the evenings and mesmerized the crowds with their performance.
On Tuesday January 30 evening, noted Carnatic vocal artiste Sangeeta Katti enthralled the crowd with her melodious and enchanting Carnatic music. The spectators were glued to their chair to the end wondering at the great talent who was performing in their backyard.
