Mangalore, Jan 30: A solo photo exhibition ‘Musings of Bamboo Notes’ by Purushotham Adve will be inaugurated on Saturday February 3 at Prasad Art Gallery here. The inauguration will be held at 5.30 in the evening.   

B Dayanand, superintendent of police and Sanath Kumar Shetty, architect will be the chief guests of the programme.  The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr K Chinnappa Gowda, folklorist, Mangalore Varsity.

Purushotham Adve is an active member of Udupi Artistes’ Forum and has the experience of holding solo as well as group exhibitions of his creations in various places.  He is known for his special attention towards folklore.  He has carried out a special research work on folklore and ‘bhootaradane’ (worship of bhootas).  He has been awarded Junior Fellowship by union culture and tourism department for the year 2006-08.

The photo exhibition will be held during 10 am and 7 pm from February 3 to 5.
