Bangalore, Jan 24: Lioness Club of Bangalore Kalyan Nagar of district 324 D6, (having 22 clubs under its banner), conducted a programme on the official visit of District Chairman for Lioness Clubs Lion C K Krishna Murthy MJF.

He was accompanied by Associated Chairperson Lioness Naveen Sridhar, Council Secretary, Lioness Saroja and Council Treasurer Lion Champaka Srinivas recently.

The event held in the Indian Gymkhana Club was presided over by Lioness Uma Maheswar.

Lioness Prabhavathi presented the report on the service activities of the club, the total service rendered amounted to Rs 1, 75 lac by the end of December 2007. The Treasurer placed the balance sheet which was appreciated by the Council.

Lioness Ushakumari, councillor for Education and Drug Awareness proposed vote of thanks. The event was compered by Lioness Jessie Rodrigues, the director of the club.
