Mangalore, Jan 22: Foundation stone was laid for the new specialities block at Tejasvini Hospital here on Monday January 22 morning.
Union minister of state for defence, MMP Raju laid the foundation stone for the new block while Dr B R Shetty, managing director and CEO of New Medical College of Hospitals, Abu Dhabi inaugurated the Computer Assisted Navigation for orthopaidic surgery.
Vinay Hegde, president of Nitte Education Trust presided over the inaugural function. Vishal Gupta, general manager of Stryker India felicitated the achievers.
Tejasvini Hospital Dr M Shantharam Shetty, Dr Lalitha, Dr Ajith Kumar, Dr Vyshali and M Suresh Shetty were also present on the occasion.
