Mangalore, Jan 20: Yenepoya Farhaad won the prestigious Mangalore Open Tennis Singles Tournament which was held on Sunday January 7 and 14. He overcame a stiff challenge from B A Salam, Thumbay in a pulsating final match to lay his hands on the coveted trophy.
In the Under 17 Group, Zoheb Salam, Thumbay prevailed over Prajwal M to win the trophy. Robin Daniel overcame the challenge from Abijeet Kumar to pocket the Under 14 title.
The tennis tournament was organized by Canara Tennis Academy, one of the divisions of prestigious 'The Canara Educational Institutions.
