Jubail, Feb 16: Indian Social Forum, organized a public seminar on ‘Present India and alternative politics’ in Cookxon Auditorium, Jubail.
Speaking on the occasion Abdul Hannan, general secretary of social democratic party of India(SDPI), Karnataka, explained the need of politics and role of SDPI towards making India of Equal Rights for all. In his speech he explained todays Indian political situation and urged all Indian expatriates to agitate against corruption and communal politics by keeping aside all differences. He also asked the audience to keep equal interest of politics and to educate people about the need of politics in India.
On this occasion he stressed Dr B R Ambedkar’s three words 'organize, educate and agitate' and asked people to fight against injustice as Indian constitution guarantees equal rights to all its citizens. He also explained how SDPI works in India in different level of national/state/district/assembly/municipality/panchayat and how SDPI is getting accepted by Indians.
The program began with the welcome speech and preface by Sherief, general secretary of central committee, Indian Social Forum. He highlighted the need of social forum and its activity in Saudi Arabia. He shed light on today’s political environment and urged all Indian expatriates to empower politically in order to uphold Indian Constitution and its core value.
The other members on the dais were Imthiaz, president, Eastern Province, India fraternity forum, Wasim, president, central committee, Indian Social Forum, Sharief, president, Karnataka state committee, Indian social forum, Salim, president, Jubail branch committee, Indian Social Forum.
Interaction Session: Apart from seminar, an interaction session was also held in Dammam, Khobar and Al Hasa with community leaders and social workers. Abdul Hannan delivered political stand and strategies of SDPI. Various community leaders from different parts of Karnataka, mainly from Gulbarga, Bangalore , Bhatkal , Shimoga, Mysore , DK and Udupi districts were participated in the interaction session. Also some delegates from Bihar, Mumbai and Hyderabad shared their views and suggestions.
