BDA submits Arkavathi documents to Kempanna Commission


Bengaluru, Feb 13 (DHNS): The Bangalore Development Authority, through the Urban Development Department, on Thursday submitted Arkavathi Layout-related documents to Justice Kempanna Commission.

Sources in the government said that nearly 1.33 lakh pages of the land-related documents were submitted to the Commission in 23 tin boxes which are kept under security.

The six-month-old Commission, whose term will conclude on February 28, is yet to begin probe into the Arkavathi-related denotifications.

The Commission may seek extension for six more months, official sources said.

The Commission has appointed K P Asokumar as its advocate.

    These are all useless activities. In the coming days they will form some more committees to check so many pages of Documents. It will be followed by rejection of the reports and a new Commission to check the work of these committees and so on until the main agenda of Arkavathi will be sidelined and only blame games will go on.
    Waste of public money and scope for more corruption.
    We will wait and see how long this may take, like the fools we are.
