Mangaluru, Feb 8: Girls from Mangaluru shone at the 12th edition of Miss South India beauty pageant held recently at Hyderabad's Marriot Hotel & Convention Centre.
Neha Shetty won the first runner-up title while 22-year-old Srinidhi R Shetty was crowned 'Miss Queen Karnataka'.

Apart from the regional title, Srinidhi also bagged the 'Miss Beautiful Smile' sub-title.
Aileena Catherine Amon from Kerala was crowned 'Miss South India' while Gayatri Suresh won the second runner-up title.
The pageant was judged by Geeta Krishna, noted director, Dr Ajmal Ameer, actor and model, Ambika, actress, Deepika Subramanian, Miss Queen of India, Nikitha Narayan, actress, and Sajimon Parayil, designer, actor and model.
The event had 17 contestants from Karnataka, Kerala, Hyderabad, Telagana and Tamil Nadu.
They were Alieena Catherin Amon, Anu Tressa George, Faheema Fathima, Gayathri Suresh, Hanisha K, Hannah Reji Koshy, Khushboo K V, Meenu Krishnan, Namitha Aradhya, Nasreen Sultana Mazhar, Neha Shetty, Rachel David, Rishika Naik, Snehal Santhosh Karkera, Srinidhi R Shetty, Sruthy Madhavan, and Tina Mangwani.
The final event was directed by Ajith Ravi, founder and chairman of Pegasus.
