Mumbai, Feb 5: Model Co-operative Bank Ltd.,inaugurated its third onsite ATM-cum Debit Card at Thane Branch on January 31, 2015. The ATM was blessed by Fr AllwynD’Silva, the parish priest of St John the Baptist Church.
Albert W D’Souza, chairman; William Sequeira, vice Chairman and directors Paul Nazareth, Lawrence D’Souza and Pius Vas were present at the programme.
The inaugural function was well attended by Shareholders, customers and well-wishers.
Customer Meet
The Model Co-op Bank Ltd. held its Customer Meet for its customers of Vashi, Thane, Mulund, KanjurMarg and Ghatkopar Branches at The Country Inn and Suites, Mahape on 31st January, 2015.
The function was well attended by over 200 guests.

Harold M Serrao, Additional General Manager welcomed the guests.
Albert W. D’Souza- Chairman delivered the key-note address and presented the bouquet of products and services offered by the Bank. Thereafter he invited suggestions and constructive criticism from the audience regarding the Bank’s services.
Several customers appreciated the services of the Bank’s Branches and congratulated the Branch staff handling the common man. Customers suggestions with regard to housing loans, education loans, incentive to reduce interest for good repayments, youth meets, straight timings for branches, ATM’s at branches, Locker facilities, Net Banking and opening of branches at other nodes of Navi Mumbai were put forth.
William Sequeira – Vice Chairman replied to the various suggestions made.
Vincent Mathias addressed the gathering and informed that the Bank will complete 100 years in 2016 and made a special appeal to raise deposits so that the Bank can apply for Scheduled status to coincide with the Centenary celebrations.
Pius Vas and Lawrence D’Souza, Directors also addressed the gathering.
William D’Souza, Addl. General Manager presented details of the Bank’s products and services and proposed the Vote of Thanks
