Bengaluru, Feb 4 (IANS): Reigning World and National Champion Pankaj Advani and Balachandra Bhaskar shared the top spot with four wins and a loss after five matches here Wednesday in the selection trials to pick the Indian team for the Asian Billiards Championship.
Advani, who had lost his opening match to Brijesh Damani, but beat Jaiveer Dhingra Tuesday, chalked up three fluent wins over Dhvaj Haria and Bhaskar 3-0, and Rupesh Shah 3-1.
Bhaskar, who had won both his matches Tuesday, overcame Dhingra 3-1, Damani 3-0 before losing to Advani.
The eight-player league concludes Thursday while the snooker camp is scheduled to commence Saturday.
