Zambian international Kampamba to join Egypt's Wadi Degla

Lusaka (Zambia), Feb 4 (IANS): Zambia striker Ronald Kampamba has passed medical tests and is set to join Egyptian club Wadi Degla.

The Zambian striker, who went for trials immediately after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in which Zambia was eliminated in the group stage, said he underwent medicals Monday, reports Xinhua.

"All is well. I did my medicals and I will play my first league game soon," he said Wednesday.

Kampamba played for local club Nkana and has been nominated for the 2014 Zambian player of the year award.

Wadi Degla currently stands fourth in that country's premier league with 32 points, nine behind leaders Zamalek.
