Mumbai, Jan 2: The head office of R S Cooperative Bank was inaugurated at Swapna Sidhi building at Kandivli West here on Monday January 1. Sripath Shivanand Saraswati Swamiji of Kavale Shri Sansthana Gaudapadacharya matt of Ponda, Goa, blessed the office and lit the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Bank chairman Sadanand D Nayak said that the Bank had been established a decade ago with an investment of Rs 65 lacs and today it has advance of over Rs 21 crore. The Bank has been established not just in Mumbai, but also in Thane and Raigad, he said.
Vice-president D S Nayak, Bank director Vittal D Nayak, Anant G Kamath, Umesh S Bhat, Devendra D Patkar, Sadanand G Patkar, Sudhir N Nayak, Raghavendra S Nayak, Upendra N Nayak, Rama Sudhakar Nayak, Nityanand D Naik and Sandhya S Nayak were honoured by Saraswati Swamiji on the occasion.
S Masoorkar, P N Shanbhag and other were honoured with gold medals handed over by Saraswati Swamiji.
The guests were Kamalaksha Saraf, N N Pal, Ullas Kamath and others. Vishnumurthy Nayak compered while chief executive officer Shashikant L Abhag delivered the vote of thanks.
