Chennai, Jan 26 (IANS): The talkie portion of the most anticipated Telugu-Tamil magnum opus "Baahubali" has been finally wrapped up and the team has started work on its post-production, with special focus on visual effects.
"Except two songs, the rest of the film's shoot has been completed. Post-production has been going on for a while now, in parallel with the shoot, and a major portion of work has either been completed or is at an advanced stage. All artistes have already completed dubbing for the film in both Telugu and Tamil," read a statement.
"Baahubali" will also be mixed in Dolby Atmos sound technology and work on it will start from February.
Another crucial aspect of the film's post-production process is the visual effects work (VFX). From the very beginning, Baahubali's production has been designed keeping the VFX in mind.
"Guided by the National-award winning Srinivas Mohan, VFX work is going on at a very fast pace in more than six different VFX Studios in India, Hong Kong and the United States. The best names in the VFX industry are working on the film," the statement added.
Said to be a story of rivalry between two brothers for a kingdom, the film features Prabhas Varma, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
The film is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli.
