New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANS): Actress Evelyn Sharma says she had bagged the lead role in Tamil magnum opus "I" but language barrier discouraged her from taking it up.
New release “I“, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, was once offered to Evelyn.
“Yes, it is true that I had auditioned and had bagged the lead, however language barrier made me withdraw from the project. This film came to me even before I did my first film ‘From Sydney with Love’,” Evelyn said in a statement.
“I hadn’t even tried my hand in Hindi cinema so, doing a Tamil film made me very nervous and unfortunately had to let go off the project. I am definitely kicking myself to have not taken the plunge,” she added.
