Comedian Taylor Negron dead


Los Angeles, Jan 11 (IANS): Actor-comedian Taylor Negron died at the age of 57.

His death was announced by his cousin Chuck Negron, a former member of the rock band Three Dog Night, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

According to reports, Taylor died after battling cancer.

“May he rest in peace,” Chuck said in a video posted on YouTube Saturday.

He said he was with Taylor when he died, as were his mother and brother Alex.

Taylor was best known for his roles in TV shows including “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”, “Friends”, “Seinfeld”, “ER" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm”.

He was also seen in films like “Stuart Little”, “The Last Boy Scout”, “Angels in the Outfield” and “Better Off Dead”.

Also, he was an accomplished stand-up comedian, and several of his humorous essays had been published. He was also a painter, playwright and poet.
