Sydney, Jan 9 (IANS): India were bowled out for 475 in their first innings with Australia reaching 38 for one in their second innings, taking a 135-run lead at tea on day four of the fourth and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) here Friday.
The Indian tail put up some fight after losing captain Virat Kohli (147) before lunch. Ravichandran Ashwin (50) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (30) played a vital hand to take India closer to Australia's first innings total.
Australia, though, suffered a setback early on in their second innings with the dangerous David Warner (4) being dismissed in the second over.
