Chennai, Jan 4 (IANS): N. Vijay Shankar Prashanth knocked out Davis Cupper Yuki Bhambri 1-6, 7-6(3), 6-3, in the second round of the qualifying competition of the Aircel Chennai Open here Sunday.
Also making his exit was second seeded Andre Kudryavtsev of Russia, who went down in three sets to local challenger Vinayak Kaza.
Joining the two Indians in the third round was compatriot Sasi Kumar Mukund who beat seventh seeded German Peter Torebko in three sets 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.
