Nice to sign Newcastle winger Ben Arfa

Paris, Jan 3 (IANS): French Ligue 1 football club Nice said Saturday they have reached a deal to sign English club Newcastle's winger Hatem Ben Arfa.

Nice said Ben Arfa has agreed to a move "in principle" and will have a medical in the Mediterranean city Monday, reports Xinhua.

Ben Arfa fell out with former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew and spent the last months of his English spell on loan at Hull City.

Ben Arfa also played for French clubs Lyon and Marseille before joining Newcastle in 2010.
