Kolkata, Dec 27 (IANS): A majority of teen moviegoers in metro cities prefer Hollywood flicks over Bollywood, whereas in non-metros the trend is the reverse, a survey revealed Saturday.
According to the 'Great Indian Filmy Keeda Survey' results, 67 percent of film buffs (below the age of 18) in metro cities gave a thumbs-up to Hollywood films over Bollywood.
In contrast, 79 percent of viewers in non-metros were in favour of catching Hindi movies.
The India Film Project has concluded a ten-day online survey across Facebook and Twitter, where 5,150-plus participants from 41 cities participated in the survey about their film choices.
The results revealed 74 percent of moviegoers (in the age group of 18 to 25 years) do not mind watching a film with average reviews, once they have made up their mind.
