Marrakech (Morocco), Dec 17 (IANS): Spanish club Real Madrid have cruised into the final of the Club World Cup football competition after a 4-0 win over Mexico side Cruz Azul at the Le Grand Stade de Marrakech here.
Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema scored in the first half while Gareth Bale and Isco netted in the second to complete the scoreline Tuesday.
Real dominated possession from the very beginning and Ramos gave them a 15th minute lead.
Seven minutes before the break Real went two up after Daniel Carvajal sent an accurate cross from the right flank for Benzema to shoot home.
A minute later Azul missed a golden chance to pull one back after Ramos brought down forward Mariano Pavone in the box, but Gerardo Torrado's penalty was acrobatically saved by goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
Bale extended the lead just five minutes into the second half and Isco heaped more misery on the Mexican team.
