Mumbai, Nov 27: The ‘Annual-Day and Prize Distribution’ of St Anne’s High School and Junior College, was held on Thursday November 23 at the St Anne’s School grounds with a great audience. Teachers, staff and parents of students from KG and primary schools put up their huge efforts to make it a wonderful evening.
Professor of Theology and dean of studies at St Pius College (Diocesan Seminary) Fr Gilbert de Lima, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The program had various presentations, skit and cultural dances in English, Hindi, Marathi and Assamese languages.
Retiring teachers and some with over 25 years in service , like Diana Misquita, Edna Castelino, Jaya Bhandarkar, Ricci Miranda and Maxi D’ Souza, were felicitated for their tireless service in the field of education.
The audience was captivated by the three young boys and one girl from standard IV, who took over as comperes for the evening. It was a colorful evening to see children with traditional costumes. Rupert D’ Souza, the music teacher of the school performed some funny and wonderful music compositions.
Parish priest Fr Salvador, assistant priests Fr Nigel and Fr Anthony, distributed various prizes to the students for their achievements.
Head teacher Muriel proposed the vote of thanks.
