India reach 119/2 after Australia innings at 517/7


Adelaide, Dec 11 (IANS): India reached 119 for two till lunch on the third day after Australia declared their first innings at the overnight score of 517 for seven in the first of the four-match Test series at the Adelaide Oval here Thursday.

India lost openers Shikhar Dhawan (27), and Murali Vijay (53) while Cheteshwar Pujara (unbeaten 34) and Virat Kohli (unbeaten 3) were at the crease till lunch.

    Under the circumstances, India did really well to reach 369\5 R\R over 4.0. on stumps of day three.
    Rahane was unlucky with the vicious off cutter which suddenly bounced on to his glow when stranded. Kohli played beautifully for his century and Rohit seems to be in fine fettle for a big score. Try and play the whole of day 4... good luck guys.
