Shashank Rao for Mid-Day
Mumbai, Nov 25: Three-year-old Pawan Gowda became another name on the long list of missing kids when he didn’t return home on Friday November 24 night. His father last saw him outside their Andheri home at 9 pm.
Said Thammanna, his father, “He is a jolly boy and loves playing. He was playing with his friends in the neighbourhood last night, but after that he didn’t return.”
A missing complaint has been filed at Andheri (E) police station. Pawan was last seen playing with three other children near his home in Chakala, Andheri (E). The children have no idea where Pawan could have gone.
Worried relatives and friends spent all of last night making the rounds of the local police station, police chowkies and even hospitals in search of the little boy. According to Kumar, Pawan’s uncle, “We have searched the entire area but in vain. His mother hasn’t eaten at all and is weeping ever since.”
The father doesn’t suspect any foul play but doesn’t write it off either. “I have no enemies, but who knows what can be the reason behind Pawan’s disappearance?” he says.
